Users Federation User Executive Body

The Users Executive Body is the voice of the users in the RISK-EOS service network. It gathers current and potential users of the RISK-EOS services. Its responsibilities are to synthetize the users feedback on te delivered services, to maintain a synthetic view of the users needs and priorities, to participate to the definition and prioritization of service network activities, and to disseminate information about the RISK-EOS services within the users communities in Europe.

The User Executive Body is coordinated by:

EURORISK User Group

The role of the EURORISK User Group (EUG) is to

• Facilitate links between PREVIEW & RISK-EOS networks and European Users potentiality.
• Contribute to the promotion of the “added value services” towards end-users in 27 European countries:
• European and national civil protections authorities,
• Fire fighting and rescue services,
• Land planning and risks prevention services (environmental agencies,
• water management agencies, forest protection agencies, etc.),
• Regional and local communities.
• Collect the users’ needs.
• Synthesize the users’ feedback.
• Validate and consolidate the services on the various tests sites across the European Union.
• Propose improvements, define priorities, and contribute to periodic updating plan.
